The day before Thanksgiving, we visited Disney Springs, rode on the Characters in Flight ride, and visited Port Orleans – French Quarter.
Last week, I shared the photos from Characters in Flight. Â Today I’m going to share photos from Disney Springs.
We parked in the Orange Garage which put us in the West Side of Disney Springs. The West Side is where the Characters in Flight is located so we were able to ride on it before the wind picked up.
These are various photos from around Disney Springs.
After Characters in Flight, we walked over to the Marketplace so we could get on the ferry to Port Orleans – French Quarter.
We passed the World of Disney so I snapped some shots. Â The Stitch on the sign squirts water at times.

During the Christmas season, they had a trail of Christmas trees. Â The trees were themed based on different Disney movies.

The boys decided they needed to pose by the Villains tree. Â They felt that tree described them.

I used to spend a lot of time in the Marketplace when I did the College Program.
After eating at the Earl of Sandwich, we visited Goofy’s Candy Company. Â The Imaginative One got his chocolate and M&M covered rice krispies treat. Â The Wee One got some cotton candy for later and I got my Mickey bar and cherry sour balls. Â Yum!
We walked around the Christmas Tree Shoppe and the art store. Â Here are some of my favorite items we saw while walking around the stores.

The Boat House and the Amphicar Launch – The Wee One wanted to ride on one of those Amphicars. Â He thought they looked cool.

While we were in Disney Springs, we went to see Moana because it was opening day.
Other views from Disney Springs – We had to check out the Cupcake ATM. Â They had very limited flavors at the ATM so we went inside instead to get a cupcake.

Casting is across from Disney Springs – I wish I had a photo of it during the day. Â However, I did get a photo of the road sign while we were heading away from Disney Springs.
Join me next week for our visit to Port Orleans – French Quarter.
Have a magical day,
Traci
