It’s been forever since I wrote to you.
I can’t believe it’s going to be 3 years in late August since you went to Heaven. So much has changed in these 3 years.
Oldest is now 16. Can you believe that? Any who, he’s now got his learner’s permit and is taking driver’s education classes. No, he’s not been on the road yet. I can’t wait until he starts to drive Mom around in her car. Oh, and he has a girlfriend. Yep, can you believe it? Neither can I. I thought for sure that Youngest was going to have one before him.
Speaking of Youngest, he’s now 14 years old. Don’t take him many places because he likes to visit attractions quickly. How about a zoo in an hour and a half. Yep, that’s him. He also decided to join DeMolay which was a shock to us all because he told me that he was not going to join.
There was a tornado in our area on Memorial Day night. Actually there was 15 tornadoes. One of which started in Brookville. I can imagine if you were still living how I would feel knowing a tornado hit in Brookville. Luckily, it was not where Mom and you were living. One hit in the neighborhood where I work. Another one hit about 2 miles from my house and 2.3 miles from Mom’s apartment. She texted me during the tornado emergency. She had her flashlight, purse, weather radio, and I don’t remember what else all with her in the bathroom. She was prepared if the tornado hit her apartment.
Speaking of Mom, I am continuing with the tradition of finding her boyfriends almost where ever I go. Around town or on road trips, I find some interesting guy. She ignores me half of the time when I tell her about them. I even got Molly to start to do that.
Molly and I met up in June for our annual EPIC trip. We visited Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls. Then we caravaned down to Erie, PA. I got a call from her while we were on I-90 close to the New York/ Pennsylvania border. There had been a shirtless man on a motorcycle. She told me that was one of Mom’s many boyfriends. You would have probably just written a sign saying “Get me out of here!” and then hung it on the car window.
Mom, Hubby, and I went to see New Kids on the Block, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Naughty by Nature, and Salt-N-Pepa in June. Hubby was so happy to see Tiffany and Debbie Gibson. He even met Tiffany afterwards. Mom got a personal escort from the security station to the section we were sitting in. Then I made her climb steps up our seats. We got cheapish tickets so what do you expect. She told me that Danny needed his rat tail from the late 80’s. I think she had fun that night.

Yes, I’m wearing pegged jeans. I needed to make it as though I was still in high school. LOL! It was actually chilly enough for us to wear jean jackets at least for part of the time. Right now though, we are having a heat wave. So we are outside very little and NO jackets allowed or you will have a heat stroke. I’m not joking.
I’m right now visiting our former pastor and her husband. Yes, I still keep in touch with them. Oldest is at Conclave, DeMolay’s Grand Assembly, in Columbus so I decided to visit them. They live on such pretty land. I saw raccoons feeding, wild turkeys, and a mother deer and her 2 fawn. I only have photos of the mother deer which is a shock.
On a serious note, did you welcome Angie into Heaven. Yes, Angie from Rainbow crossed over into Heaven last week. If you didn’t welcome her, please go find her and give her a huge hug from me. Such sad news because she was only 7 months older than me.
Until next time, I love you!
Your annoying big sister,
Traci
