Welcome to our Tuesday recipe of the week.  This week’s recipe if for pressure cooker chicken pot pie.

Hubby loves chicken pot pie.  So this recipe is a keeper in my house.

Stars of the recipe:

  • 2 potatoes, peeled and diced into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 16 oz. bag of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can of jumbo sized biscuits, cut into fourths

Steps:

  1. Spray the pressure cooker pot with non stick cooking spray.
  2. Layer the ingredients in this order.  Do not stir.
    1. Chicken Tenders
    2. Potatoes
    3. Chicken Broth
    4. Frozen Mixed Vegetables
    5. Cream of Chicken Soup
  3. Top with biscuits in a single layer.  (I had to be creative to get all of the biscuits on top of the deliciousness.)
  4. Set the pressure cooker to 18 minutes.  (I used the pressure cooker setting.)
  5. When finished, quick release the steam.  (Be careful of steam!)
  6. Enjoy!

  1. Ok i am new to pressure cookers except of course the scary murdering ones when i was a kid but i have been using one now for a month or so and i cannot tell you how awesome these are! The recipes like yours so easy but so amazing!! The flavor is in every single bite of food and my 7 yr old Livy tells me to cook everything in it! She loves to eat! Thanks for the recipe i have to put some in a bowl for her before she bites my leg off lol

  2. This pot pie recipe is so easy to make and we love it. I’ve made it twice since I got my Instant Pot a couple of months ago.

  3. What size pressure cooker did you use? Mine is a 40 qt, should i increase this recipe? I’m new to this and want to try your recipe.

  4. Could this be made in a crock pot? If so, how long to cook? I don’t have a pressure cooker, but this sounds delicious, and i want to try to make it!

Please leave me a message so I know you came and visited.
