Welcome to our Tuesday recipe of the week. This week’s recipe if for pressure cooker chicken pot pie.
Hubby loves chicken pot pie. So this recipe is a keeper in my house.
Pressure Cooker Chicken Pot Pie
Stars of the recipe:
- 1 lb. chicken tenders, diced into 1 inch cubes
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced into 1 inch cubes
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 16 oz. bag of frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 (10 oz.) cans of cream of chicken soup
- 1 can of jumbo sized biscuits, cut into fourths
Steps:
- Spray the pressure cooker pot with non stick cooking spray.
- Layer the ingredients in this order. Do not stir.
- Chicken Tenders
- Potatoes
- Chicken Broth
- Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- Cream of Chicken Soup
- Top with biscuits in a single layer. (I had to be creative to get all of the biscuits on top of the deliciousness.)
- Set the pressure cooker to 18 minutes. (I used the pressure cooker setting.)
- When finished, quick release the steam. (Be careful of steam!)
- Enjoy!
Ok i am new to pressure cookers except of course the scary murdering ones when i was a kid but i have been using one now for a month or so and i cannot tell you how awesome these are! The recipes like yours so easy but so amazing!! The flavor is in every single bite of food and my 7 yr old Livy tells me to cook everything in it! She loves to eat! Thanks for the recipe i have to put some in a bowl for her before she bites my leg off lol
I am trying your chicken pot pie tonight! Excited!
This pot pie recipe is so easy to make and we love it. I’ve made it twice since I got my Instant Pot a couple of months ago.
I’m glad you like it.
What size pressure cooker did you use? Mine is a 40 qt, should i increase this recipe? I’m new to this and want to try your recipe.
sorry 10 qt
I think mine is 6 qt.
Could this be made in a crock pot? If so, how long to cook? I don’t have a pressure cooker, but this sounds delicious, and i want to try to make it!
