I have a favorite quote that I say all the time. It’s a simple quote that has a lot of meaning for me. It’s “Hakuna Matata.” The quote simply means “No worries.”
We live in a world where there is constant worry.
Is my medical procedure going to turn out all right?
Am I going to get to work alright in this snow?
Does so and so like me as much as much as I like them?
The list can go on and on of the worries that we feel in our daily life. It’s how we deal with those worries that makes a world of difference.
Sometimes for me the best way to deal with the worries of life is just to pray.
Another one of my favorite quotes is one by Walt Disney. The 50th anniversary of Walt Disney’s death is today, December 15.
He never got to fulfill his dream of building Walt Disney World, a place I call home.
The quote is “Laughter is no enemy to education.”
“Laughter is no enemy to education.”
So often as a teacher, we get so wrapped up in making sure the students get all the content that needs to be taught in a short amount of time. Sometimes we need to step back and have some fun with the learning.
When you include laughter and fun with their learning, they will remember the lessons so much more.
One of my favorite teachers was Ms. Adams. I had her for tenth grade World History. I learned so much from her because she made learning fun. Even after 25 years, I can remember learning about the Black Plague from her.
“Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.”
Another quote that I love from Walt Disney is “Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.”
That is so very true. Children are the future leaders. They have the power to change the world. It’s up to us to help them discover their potential. We need to teach them that it is not okay to give up when things become tough. They need to learn how to persevere.
I have that quote in my email signature at work. I want people to remember that the power of a young mind is great.
“Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever.”
My next to last quote that I’m going to leave you with is a classic one from Walt Disney. “Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever.”
Never stop laughing. Never stop imagining what could be. Never stop dreaming.
Dream big! Reach for the stars!
I have so many dreams for the future. Places I want to visit. People I would love to meet. Future jobs I would love to pursue. It’s up to me to continue to dream big.
“Have a Magical Day!”
The quote that is said all over Disney is “Have a Magical Day!” It’s my catch phrase. I’m all the time telling people to “Have a Magical Day.” Find some beauty in the day! I’ve named my phones that so that when they are hooked up to my Bluetooth in the car. – It’s reminding me to Have a Magical Day. Whenever the boys saw a sign at Disney that said “Have a Magical Day”, they told me that it’s my sign.
Thanks for reading,

Disneyland is my favorite place ever.
“Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
I do love going to Disney World. Mr. Disney’s philosophy was for his park was “everyone should be able to play.” I’m old enough to remember seeing Walt every Sunday night for a Disney movie he’d host and seeing Epcot being built on that same show.
I LOVE Disney! I love that your post focused specifically on Disney quotes. 🙂 I swear every single movie has at least one line that moves me to tears.
