My Winter Bucket List

I haven’t made a bucket list for winter 2018 so I thought I should do that.  Some of the bucket list has been completed.

#1  Finish the Outlander series on Starz.

This one was completed during my winter break.  I had watched the first season, parts 1 and 2 previously but had not seen the second or third season.  I began watching season 2 on December 22 and completed season 3 on December 28.

I really enjoyed watching the second and third season.

#2  Listen to the remainder of Cleo Coyle’s Coffeehouse Mysteries series on Hoopla.

Books I have left to listen to from her series.

#3  Listen to Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone Mysteries on Overdrive.

I got done with listening to the final book in the series.  Y is for Yesterday – I want to listen to them since Sue Grafton passed away in late December.  I have read some of the other books in the series but don’t remember which ones.

Y is for Yesterday (Kinsey Millhone, #25)Y is for Yesterday by Sue Grafton

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book left a lot in the air at the end. Since Sue Grafton passed away in late December, you will never know what happened with Kinsey or with Ana and her baby.

This book takes place in both 1979 and 1989. In 1979, a teenager was killed by her classmates. One of the classmates disappeared after the killing. What happened to him? There was also a tape that shows a sexual assault of another classmate. The tape disappeared after the classmate was killed.

10 years later, one of the young men who was arrested and sent to prison for brandishing the gun that killed classmate was released from prison. The tape resurfaced and was sent to the parents of the young man. Whoever sent that tape asked for a lot of money from them.

It is up to Kinsey to try to uncover who sent the tape and what happened to the young man who disappeared after the death of his classmate.

Also in 1989, Kinsey is still being stalked by the psycho path Ned Lowe who we met in X. She has to be on constant vigilance.

I enjoyed listening to this book on Audible.
