Two More Weeks

It’s the end of the school year. It’s time to clean and pack up my room. It seems that when I start to pick up my room, students come into my room and mess it up.

I’m wondering why there are blocks all over my floor. They were using a few of them for our board game yesterday. Once we were done with the games, they were told to put them back in the box they belong in. I think little fairies came into my room and threw them onto the floor.

I also have the headphones fairy in my room. Students have left headphones in my room and have never claimed them. I don’t know who they belong to at all so they are just sitting on a desk waiting to be claimed.

In 2 weeks, I need to have all of this packed up or hidden in cabinets. In 2 weeks, my room will be bare until August.

If you need to find me, you’ll know where I’ll be. Cleaning up my classroom.

Stay kind!

Have a magical day,
Traci

  1. My mom was a teacher and I remember her talking about the year-end cleanup. I empathize with you.

If those headphones aren’t claimed, there’s pretty much nothing you can do but throw them out, is there?

    1. Those headphones actually belong to the school. I walked them down to the fifth grade classroom where they actually belong. I had a fun class in my room this afternoon so I needed to get them out of my room.

Please leave me a message so I know you came and visited.
