A few weeks ago, I was craving a smoothie bowl for dinner. So I made a peach crisp smoothie bowl.
This would be a good breakfast or dessert during the summer when it is hot outside.
So what is a smoothie bowl? It’s a smoothie that is slightly thicker than typical smoothie. You eat it in a bowl with toppings.
Peach Crisp Smoothie Bowl
Stars of the recipe:
- 1-1/2 c. fresh or frozen peaches
- 1 c. to 1-1/2 c. almond milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 Tbsp. nutmeg
- toppings: pecans, granola, chia seeds, more peaches
- Add all the ingredients except for the toppings to the blender cup. (Start with 1 c. of almond milk and then add more if needed.)
- Pour into a bowl.
- Top with toppings.
