It’s the last week of school for both the boys and myself. I can’t believe it!
Once again I’m going to put a menu out for this week without listing the days.
Orange Honey Chicken, Rice, Peas
Pan Fried Pork Chops with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Asian Cole Slaw, Rice
Chicken Fajitas, Tortilla Chips, Salsa
Breakfast for Dinner – Bacon, Cheese, and Onion Oven Omelet , Toast or Biscuits
Zombie Dogz (A local food truck) and cupcakes for dessert (Salad along aside it.)

Now that summer is upon us, I can concentrate on trying different recipes to put on the blog. I’ve been so slack with it because of work.
Books that I’ve read this week:
Candy Corn Murder by Leslie Meier
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was a different from typical cozy mysteries because the murder did not take place until half way through the book. The Pumpkin Festival and Lucy taking care of her grandson seemed to be the main focus of the book.
There was a secondary mystery also.
Enjoyable read

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
What’s not to like? A missing corpse, murder, and rogue cops
This was another enjoyable book. There were a lot of red herrings in the book which made it a fun read because you think one person was the killer but then you realize it was not them. So much fun.
Happy eating,
Traci
