Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
Wait, I’m not talking about stars in the sky.
Today I’m going to be talking about Christmas tree lights that twinkle merrily.
About 20 minutes from my house is a working water mill called Clifton Mill. Each Christmas season, they decorate the mill. People come from all over to see the lights.
There was a period of time this year that we thought the mill was not going to open up for the holiday season. One Sunday in November, the Dayton, Ohio area (Miami Valley) experienced a torrential rain storm. Some of the lights were washed away.
Even with that setback, Clifton Mill opened for the holiday season on time.
Today I’m going to share some of my photos of the mill. I took these photos last December.
I love how the lights twinkle against the black sky.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to go to Clifton Mills this year. It all depends on the weather and how I feel because I’m still having the abdominal pains off and on again.
Have a magical day,
