Clifton Mill’s Twinkling Lights

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.

Wait, I’m not talking about stars in the sky.

Today I’m going to be talking about Christmas tree lights that twinkle merrily.

About 20 minutes from my house is a working water mill called Clifton Mill.  Each Christmas season, they decorate the mill.  People come from all over to see the lights.

There was a period of time this year that we thought the mill was not going to open up for the holiday season.  One Sunday in November, the Dayton, Ohio area (Miami Valley) experienced a torrential rain storm.  Some of the lights were washed away.

Even with that setback, Clifton Mill opened for the holiday season on time.

Today I’m going to share some of my photos of the mill.  I took these photos last December.

I love how the lights twinkle against the black sky.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to go to Clifton Mills this year.  It all depends on the weather and how I feel because I’m still having the abdominal pains off and on again.

Have a magical day,
Traci

Nice photos. It’s amazing how deeply we get affected by being low in a few minerals or chemicals in our bodies. My Mom dropped low in salt last year do to a ordinary spring cold and not having enough salt in her body made her so sick she couldn’t hardly move. So I get the low potass & not enough water.

What a fun tradition. Amazing how holiday lights can just make a place look so beautiful. 🙂 I hope you’re feeling better!
