Join me on Saturdays for posts about our South Carolina trip.
Today we’re visiting the Greensboro Arboretum. We only saw a small portion of the arboretum. The arboretum is 17 acres with 3 different entrances. We went to the Ashland Drive entrance with the parking lot across the street.
That entrance has the dwarf conifer collection, the vine collection, and the hosta garden. We also got to see the Tanger Family wedding gazebo. There might have been a wedding rehearsal because we saw a family in the gazebo.
I only wish we had more time to explore it but we needed to get on the road because our next stop was an hour away.
Since there was a soccer tournament going on in the Greensboro area, we were only able to spend one night at the hotel we slept at on Thursday night. On Friday night, we stayed in the Charlotte area just down the street from the University of North Carolina.
Here are some photos of the arboretum.
Join me next Saturday for some hotel fun and then the Reed Gold Mine.
Have a magical day,
Traci
