We decided we wanted to visit the Big Red Lighthouse before leaving the Holland, Michigan area.
They allow out of state residents to park near the gatehouse and then walk to the Big Red Lighthouse. Hubby and I decided to take them up on the offer. We enjoyed walking past the beach houses to the beach. We then walked along the path that jetted into Lake Michigan.
We could not go in the Big Red Lighthouse. The views to and from checking out the sight were a treat to the eyes.
Here are some of the beach houses that we passed while walking out to the Big Red Lighthouse.
After we were finished with checking out the Big Red Lighthouse, we stopped at this food truck/ restaurant before heading out of Michigan.
