Free to Anyone Who Wants It

Currently the majority of the United States is going through a really bad cold snap. It’s as though Elsa is mad at us.

Now the Dayton, Ohio region is not as cold as other parts of the United States. At this current moment, 10:17 am on January 30, it’s -7 degrees. Are you serious?!?!?

If anyone wants this weather, it’s free for anyone who wants it. We have wind chill temps that are supposed to be the lowest in 42 years! Really?!?

We might have a record high which would be the lowest high.

Here’s the craziest thing. By Saturday, we are going to have seasonal or above seasonal temps. My mom has been stuck in her apartment since the beginning of January because of the snow or this cold. She is going to break FREE this weekend. She doesn’t care where we go just that she doesn’t have to be in her apartment.

Our Current Temperature – January 30, 2019

I never finished my blog post on January 30th so it’s now the next day. I’m still at home because of the temperatures. It’s currently almost 10 o’clock and it’s -2 degrees. Today I have to venture out because I need to get blood work done. Yuck!

These temperatures are free to anyone who wants them. They need to leave my area and without the snow they are predicting tonight.

Stay kind!

Have a magical day,

  1. I’m not a fan of the cold. We live in Knoxville TN and it’s been really cold the past couple of days. Like y’all we’re expected to get a warming trend beginning Saturday. I’m not complaining. In fact, I can’t wait for it to get here. The weather pattern is generally crazy this time of year with extreme ups and down. I tell you I for one am very much looking forward to the return of spring, not summer, but spring. 🙂 Enjoy the weekend being outdoors. Hopefully, y’alls’ weather cycle is similar to ours so you can enjoy it for more than just the weekend.

  2. It’s like 40 degrees here in Washington and I really would take one day of that freezing cold weather off your hands if it also comes with a few inches of snow!

    1. We got snow. It’s now 12 degrees. My husband drove in the beginning of the snow storm and said it was the nastiest snow he had seen! Do you want any of that snow?
It’s suppose to be gone by tomorrow since we’ll be in the 40s.

  3. I moved to Atlanta from Chicago to get away from the cold and the snow. We still get cold, but not that subzero stuff, and most of the time snow removes itself after a day or two. I like that much better…

  4. […] an awful 3.5 days. I had glucose testing on day 1 which is when the temps began to drop. Then it bottomed out. Schools were cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday because of the temperatures. Then on Thursday […]
