My favorite smoothie from Tropical Smoothie is the Blimey Limey. I decided to recreate it but there is a lack of recipes for copycat “Blimey Limey” recipes. Eventually I found one recipe so I adapted the recipe a little bit by removing the sweetener. I loved it without the sweetener.
I used the frozen concentrate of both limeade and oj. I opened the containers and then put the lid back on the containers so I can reuse them.
With the pineapples and strawberries, one of them should be frozen so you get that smoothie texture. I used both frozen in mine.
This is my new favorite smoothie to make at home for breakfast. With only 5 ingredients, including water, it’s easy to whip up. Plus it’s delicious. Last weekend and through Monday, I was beginning to come down with another sinus infection. I think drinking this on a daily basis prevented the sinus infection because of the good vitamins in the smoothie. Yeah!

I was craving a blimey limey and Tropical Smoothie was closed. This was the PERFECT recipe. Easy and tasted just like the real deal.
I created the Blimey Limey back in 2000! Your close. Minus the Florida crystals sugar.
