On the second day, we traveled to Mystic, Connecticut, to see the aquarium and eat at Mystic Pizza. Then we traveled to Newport, Rhode Island. We were hoping to see the mansions, but it was foggy and misting.
Today’s photos are from the Mystic Aquarium.
Our first order of business was to get breakfast and coffee. We ended up at a service area. The state property was next to the parking lot. I thought it would be a good place to get a selfie.
The flowers were from the hotel where we had stayed the night before.
I have a zoo, aquarium, or wildlife center bucket list. Mystic Aquarium made state #22 for me.
