Here are the three words I’ve been given today.
FLAG
FLAT
FORUM
In the previous school where I taught, there was a huge USA flag in the hallway. I would do morning duty near that flag. It sat flat against the wall. When the announcements were playing over the loudspeaker, I would have any student who was in the hallway stop moving. They would turn towards that large flag, so they could recite the pledge.
When I think of a forum, I think of a meeting where people come together to share ideas. In my current school, I hold class meetings, which are a type of forum. The meetings are held after the school-wide announcements. We discuss the weather, famous people’s birthdays, national holidays, and our feelings. Okay, sometimes I ask other questions, then how are you feeling? It’s a way to build class community.
Did you know June 17th is National Eat Your Vegetables Day and National Cherry Tart Day?

Please leave me a message so I know you came and visited.
