Today is the last day of the month so it’s time to share the recipes I’ve shared this month and the top recipes from the month.
Month: July 2016
Oven “Fried” Chicken (Gluten Free Option)
My family loves fried chicken especially Kentucky Fried Chicken. It’s not healthy to eat KFC though. So when I found this recipe back in February, I was super excited. It’s a little bit healthier because you bake the chicken instead of frying it in oil. Continue reading “Oven “Fried” Chicken (Gluten Free Option)”
Oven Bacon
I’ve mentioned before that we were going on a quick road trip in mid July. The Imaginative One had a camp in Kent, Ohio. Then he was going to go to another camp in Michigan. Hubby and I decided to drive him from one camp to the other camp.
Mint Chocolate Chip No Churn Ice Cream
The Imaginative One loves the color green. Once he was old enough to chose his own ice cream flavor, he would chose mint chocolate chip ice cream. For five or so years, he would only eat with mint chocolate chip ice cream. In recent years, his choice of ice cream flavors is more diverse. Continue reading “Mint Chocolate Chip No Churn Ice Cream”
Peach Salsa
Last month, I bought some peaches from the Peach Truck. I had to find different ways to use up the 25 pounds of peaches.
Cheddar Bay Biscuits Redone
Some of my previous recipes either don’t have pictures or the pictures need to be updated. This recipe needed an updated photograph. I used an Iphone to take the picture for the blog back in March 2012. The Iphone was new so I thought I needed to use it for all my photographs for this blog. (I no longer have an Iphone.)
Blueberry Muffin Energy Balls (Vegan, Gluten Free)
The Imaginative One has gone to two camps. Since the camps, I’ve volunteered to pick up the Imaginative One and one of his friends from the first camp so we can drive them up to the second camp. Hubby and I are going to be going on a small road trip this weekend. Continue reading “Blueberry Muffin Energy Balls (Vegan, Gluten Free)”
Creamy Hummus
Many years ago, I would sign up for coffee hour at the church we attended at that time. I was on a “diet” at that time to lose the baby weight that I had gained from both the Wee One and the Imaginative One. So I decided to bring a veggie tray with the typical ranch dressing and hummus instead of cookies and cake. Continue reading “Creamy Hummus”
Crockpot Chicken (Revised)
The beginning of July was quiet in our house. Maybe that was because I was sick from the Fourth of July until that Friday. I was housebound for two of those days because I had a fever. On the Fourth of July, the only relief I got from my fever was laying in front of a fan. Continue reading “Crockpot Chicken (Revised)”
Fried Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwich
The Fourth of July was a bust at our house. On the third, I went to our town’s annual block party. It was rainy and chilly during the block party. Even though I wore jeans and a pullover, I ended up with a fever, cough, and a headache. I was suppose to be in our Fourth of July parade but opted not to go. The Wee One decided he didn’t want to walk in the parade if I wasn’t there. The Imaginative One did walk in the parade because one of his friends came and got him.
